Scope And Objectives

The DIRECT project, led by JEF Spain in close collaboration with JEF EU and TalTech, represents a significant step forward in the promotion and education of Digital Rights in the European Union.

This project not only identifies and addresses current concerns and challenges in the field of Digital Rights, but also sets out a series of initiatives and tools to empower European citizens.

Some of the key contributions of the project are detailed below:

Through these initiatives and collaborations, the DIRECT project is positioned as a proposal in the promotion and defense of Digital Rights in the EU, providing the necessary tools and resources for European citizens to be informed, empowered and protected in the digital world.

Online Training Platform

DIRECT has proposed the creation of a web portal that serves as an online training platform on European digital principles and Digital Rights laws. This resource provides users with access to up-to-date information, tutorials and best practices in the digital domain.

International Seminars

The project includes the organization of international seminars, such as the one planned in Estonia, where participants are instructed on how to raise awareness of Digital Rights.

Follow-up activities

A series of complementary activities are planned to spread awareness of Digital Rights among the EU population, ensuring that information and training reaches a wide audience.

Collaboration and Synergy

Working in consortium with JEF EU and TalTech, the DIRECT project leverages the expertise and resources of these organizations, creating a multidisciplinary and broadly informed approach to Digital Rights.

Youth Focus

Recognizing that youth are particularly vulnerable and, at the same time, essential to the digital future, DIRECT places special emphasis on addressing the concerns and needs of young people in relation to Digital Rights.

Continuous Research

The project focuses not only on education and awareness, but also on continuous research to identify emerging challenges and adapt proposed solutions to the changing needs of the digital environment.
